亲子间教育期望差距影响因素相对重要性分析--基于CEPS调查数据的实证研究 被引量:6

摘要 教育期望包括父母对子女的教育期望及子女自我教育期望,其差距反映了二者对子代期望教育程度的异质性,亲子间教育期望差距过大不利于子女教育获得与社会阶层提升。作为教育与地位获得的重要中介变量,研究亲子间教育期望差距影响因素对缩小期望差距,实现个人社会阶层流动具有重要的现实意义。本文从个人、家庭、学校三个维度探究了亲子间教育期望差距影响因素及其相对重要性,研究发现:个体因素中,成绩较差或学生自我发展信心不足群体亲子教育期望差距更大;家庭因素中,父母受教育程度越高,亲子间教育期望差距越小;学校因素中,公立院校、高质量教师数量较多亲子间教育期望差距更小。此外,亲子间教育期望差距各影响因素存在城乡异质性,不同维度影响因素内部影响因子相对重要性存在差异,但无论在城镇还是农村地区,个人因素对亲子间教育期望差距影响最大,家庭因素次之,学校因素相对较弱。 Educational expectations include parents’ educational expectations for their children and their children’s self-education expectations.The gap reflects the heterogeneity of their children’s expected educational levels.The discrepancies in educational expectations too big between parents and children is not conducive to children’s education and social class promotion.As an important intermediary variable between education and status acquisition,studying the influencing factors of the parent-child discrepancies in educational expectations has important practical significance for narrowing the expectation discrepancies and realizing the individual’s social stratification.This article explores the influencing factors and their relative importance of the parentchild discrepancies in educational expectations from the three dimensions of individual,family,and school.It is found that among the individual factors,poor performance or insufficient self-development confidence of students have greater discrepancies in personal education expectations;among family factors,the higher the level of parents’ education,the smaller the educational expectation discrepancies between parents and children;among the school factors,the higher the number of public colleges and high-quality teachers,the smaller the educational expectation discrepancies between parents and children.In addition,the influencing factors of the gap in educational expectations between parents and children are heterogeneous in urban and rural areas,and the relative importance of internal influencing factors of different dimensions of influencing factors are different.However,whether in urban or rural areas,personal factors have the greatest impact on the discrepancies in educational expectations between parents and children,and families have the greatest impact on the gap in educational expectations between parents and children.However,the school is relatively weak.
