摘要
为全面分析“中”字的词义隐喻引申情况,文章从不同语义认知视角对其进行了汉英对比分析。主要从文化差异和历史背景差异视角,分析了英汉语境下“中”字词义的不同隐喻引申以及二者存在的差异,探讨了英汉语境下词义隐喻引申存在差异的原因。结论认为文化背景差异以及不对应翻译是词义隐喻引申存在差异的主要因素。
In order to make a comprehensive analysis of the metaphorical extension of the chinese character"中(Zhong)",this paper makes a contrastive analysis between Chinese and English from different cognitive perspectives.Mainly from the perspective of cultural differences and historical background differences,this paper analyzes the different metaphorical extensions of the chinese character"中(Zhong)"in English and Chinese contexts and the differences between the two,and explores the reasons for the differences in the meaning of metaphors in the English and Chinese contexts.The conclusion is that cultural background differences and non-corresponding translations are the main factors for the differences in the extension of word meaning metaphors.
