摘要
讲好中国故事、传播好中国声音,有助于向世界展现真实、立体、全面的中国。基于自建的中西方媒体“人物故事”英语专门语料库,运用语料库文体学研究方法,从词汇、句法和语篇三个方面对中国媒体的“第六声”和西方媒体的人物故事文本进行对比分析。结果表明,“第六声”上的英语人物故事,具有词汇复杂、正式,多样性程度较低,文本难度和信息负载量较小,句式不够灵活、紧密,逻辑连贯性较差,篇章衔接和可读性较弱,整体语言表达不够地道等特征。对于探索“讲好中国故事”及中国文化外译有一定的参考价值。
Telling China's stories and spreading China's voice well will help present a true,multi-dimensional and comprehensive picture of China to the world.Based on the self-built English corpus of"character stories"in Chinese and western media,this paper makes a comparative analysis of the"sixth tone"of Chinese media and the text of character stories in western media from three aspects of vocabulary,syntax and discourse by using the method of corpus stylistics.The results show that the English character stories on"the sixth tone"are characterized by complex and formal vocabulary,low diversity,text difficulty and small information load,inflexible and compact sentence patterns,poor logical coherence,weak cohesion and readability of the text,and inadequate overall language expression.It has a certain reference value for the exploration of"telling Chinese stories well"and the translation of Chinese culture.
