摘要
中国学生对英语词义的理解存在较为严重的不准确倾向。这一问题可以通过语义角色“施事”在英语词义教学中的运用得到一定的缓解,具体涉及英语一词多义的理解、同义词的辨析以及词汇的句法结构搭建等方面。为达成理想的教学效果,课堂教学需要做到结合教材、结合时事和结合汉语。
Chinese students have a strong tendency of inaccuracy in their understanding of the meaning of English words.Such a problem can be alleviated to some extent by the application of the semantic role“agent”to the teaching of English word meanings.The application can focus on polysemy comprehension,synonym discrimination and the building of syntactic structures of certain English words.In order to achieve a superior teaching effect,it is suggested that the application should be combined with the teaching materials,the current affairs and the Chinese language.
