Objective To explore the effect of continuous nursing after discharge on WeChat platform on the quality of life of patients with severe burns. Methods A total of 60 discharged patients with severe burns treated in Guangdong Work Injury Rehabilitation Hospital form January 2018 to April 2019 were selected as research objects, which were divided into the control group(n=30)and the observation group(n=30)according to random number table method. The control group received monthly routine telephone follow-up visits. The control group received monthly telephone follow-up visits The observation group received continuous nursing after discharge based on WeChat platform. Results The quality of life score of the observation group after intervention was higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The self-efficacy level of the two groups had no difference before intervention(P>0.05),and the self-efficacy level of the observation group after intervention was(27.07±6.20)points,which was higher than that of the control group of(21.67±6.82)points,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Continuing nursing intervention on patients with severe burns using the WeChat platform can significantly improve patients′quality of life and self-efficacy level. It has positive clinical use and promotion value.
