摘要
《新诗年选一九一九年》作为中国新诗史上第一本“年选”,编排严谨,选评结合,是一本质量较高的新诗选本。署名“北社同人”的编者是以康白情为主的几位新诗人,他们梳理新诗坛实绩,评价新诗创作,表达编者审美趣味,潜藏新诗规范学。选本中实际形成了“编者”和“文本”两种视界,既回应了新诗初期如何审美,如何培养新诗读者等问题,又勾勒出“五四”前后的新诗坛生态。值得注意的是,编者选用的“选本”这一传统文学批评方式直接与曾被大力抨击的“选学余孽”产生对照,带来文学史上的巨大张力。从“选学余孽”到“新诗年选”,正是钱锺书所谓“革命在事实上的成功便是在理论上的失败”。
As the first anthology of new poetry in the history of Chinese new poetry,The Anthology of New Poetry in 1919 is a high-quality one of new poetry with rigorous arrangement as well as a combination of selection and evaluation.The editors known as“members of the North Society”are several new poets headed by Kang Baiqing,who have sorted out the achievements of the new poetry circle,evaluating the creation of new poetry,expressing the editor's aesthetic interest,and implying the norms of new poetry.In this anthology,two horizons,the“editor”and the“text”,have been formed,which not only reflect the issues of how to appreciate the beauty of new poetry in its early stage and how to cultivate the readers for new poetry,but also outline the ecology of the new poetic circle before and after the May 4 th Movement.It is worth noting that the editor’s choice of“anthology”as a traditional way of literary criticism is in direct contrast with the“remnant of selective readings”which has been strongly criticized,thus bringing about great tension in the history of literature.The transition from the“remnant of selective readings”to the“anthology of new poetry”is precisely what is stated by Qian Zhongshu-the“success in revolution is virtually the failure in theory”.
