摘要
从语用顺应论的视角出发,探讨浙江省地方政府网站汉英翻译在语言和非语言两方面的失误,纳入此类翻译实践中关联的语言、文化以及心理因素,对不同的英译失误进行批判性分析,并从宏观顺应与微观顺应两个角度入手提出翻译对策,以期为今后的政府网站英译实践提供一定借鉴,从而减少英译失误,提升浙江省地方政府外宣水平和国际形象。
Through field study, it is found that there are language and non-language translation er-rors in the Chinese-to-English translation of the official websites of the local governments in Zhe-jiang province. Therefore, it is necessary from the theories of pragmatics to discuss the Chinese-toEnglish translation of local government websites and put various interrelated factors into the transla-tion practice, such as linguistic, cultural and psychological factors into a coherent framework. With critical analysis, this paper proposes effective countermeasures at the macro and micro levels for the translation to reduce errors in the future, improve the quality of government publicity and enhance the international images of local governments.
