摘要
语言是文化的镜子,词汇是构成语言的基本单位,文化负载词是最能反映语言所承载的文化信息和内涵的词汇。当今世界,文学翻译是全球跨文化交流的重要方式之一,文化负载词的翻译策略研究有助于更好地实现文学翻译的跨文化交流目的。以《色,戒》英译本为案例进行文本分析和语言考察,研究发现蓝诗玲对文化负载词的归化翻译能够使得译文清晰流畅,意译法等翻译方法减少了跨文化交际的阻碍,但是面临源语文化内涵走失的困境。
Language is the mirror of culture.Vocabulary is the basic unit of language,and culture-loaded words are the words that can best reflect the cultural information and connotation of language.Nowadays,literary translation is one of the most important ways of global cross-cultural communication.The research on translation strategies of culture-loaded words is helpful to achieve the purpose of cross-cultural communication in literary translation.Taking the English version of Lust,Caution as a case study,through textual and linguistic analysis,it is found that Julia Lovell s domesticating translation of culture-loaded words can make the translation clear and smooth,and the liberal translation method reduces the barriers of cross-cultural communication,but faces the dilemma of losing cultural connotation of the source language.
