摘要
列强在华滥发纸钞,因是大利所在的营生,相互间竞争激烈,显露出如下特点:发钞机构的背后是国家,是军事和经济实力的较量,近代时段,英国占有先机;地缘优势不容忽略,俄国的财经力量不甚强大,但邻近中国,其钞票在东北、西北泛滥成灾;后起国家急不可耐,表现尤为突出的是日本、美国等;金融资本发达国家异军突起,法国在对华货币渗入方面特别积极。列强之间既竞争又勾结,结成联合对付中国的"神圣同盟",对中国的国计民生造成严重侵损,也引起中国朝野的反抗。
The paper money issued by foreign powers in China shows the following characteristics:Behind the money issuing institutions was the country,was the contest between military and economic strength.In modern times,Britain was the most powerful.Geographical advantages should not be ignored.Russia’s financial and economic power is not strong,but it was near China,so Russian currency was rampant in Northeast and Northwest China.Later,powerful countries were eager to catch up,especially Japan and the United States.France was particularly active in currency penetration into China.The issue of foreign paper money has caused serious damage to China’s national economy and people’s livelihood,which inevitably has caused Chinese people’s resistance.
