摘要
随着芯片集成度的不断提高,设计复杂度以及验证难度都随之增加,不可避免的造成软硬件开发周期的延长。为了在流片前能够对宽带电力线载波通信芯片进行协议一致性评估,利用软硬件协同的方式提高系统开发效率,文中提出了一种针对此芯片的FPGA原型验证平台,包括数字和模拟两部分。通过对数字部分进行设计移植、验证以及执行自动化工具流程,完成FPGA映射。通过开发外部数模转换和线路驱动参考子板,实现了模拟部分的参考模型。项目实施结果证明,此平台完成了系统协议的互联互通测试评估,加快和提高了软件的开发速度和质量,并在芯片回片后提供辅助调试的参考设计,达到了预期目的。
As device density on a chip is increasing,design and verification efforts are greatly needed than before,making hardware and software development more time consuming.To evaluate the consistency of PLC protocols and to achieve the co⁃design approach to improve the PLC system development efficiency,a FPGA prototype verification platform that intends for this SoC chip is proposed.The platform consists digital and analog part.By porting and verifying digital design to mapping FPGA resources,the FPGA bit⁃file is created.By making AD/DA and line⁃driver add⁃on boards,the analog reference model is built.As the project carried out,the conclusion is that the goal of verifying protocols consistency,speeding up the software developments and helping to bring⁃up the SoC chip are met.
