Objective:To explore the syndrome characteristics and the TCM constitutional distribution of postpartum non-specific low back pain. Methods:Adopting the standard of classification and judgment of TCM constitution,a questionnaire survey was conducted among 183 postpartum low back pain patients(the case group)and 138 postpartum healthy persons(the control group),the correlation between TCM constitution and TCM syndrome were analyzed. Results:There was no statistical significance in age, birth process, parity and mode of delivery between the two groups.Compared with the control group, the TCM constitution types in the case group were mainly the Yangxu constitution(阳虚质),the Shire constitution(湿热质),and the Yinxu constitution(阴虚质)and the Qixu constitution(气虚质).But the difference of the Pinghe constitution(平和质)has statistical significance(P<0.05).At the same time,it is rare to find single body types in postpartum women, both are based on one type of body and sandwich multiple types of constitution. The Shenxu(肾虚)syndrome is mainly in postpartum NLBP.Conclusion:Patients with low back pain after delivery are more prone to biased constitution types. The types of TCM constitution in patients with postpartum low back pain are the Yangxu constitution, the Shire constitution, and the Yinxu constitution and the Qixu constitution.Single constitution type of postpartum women is relatively rare, all of them are one type of constitution with multiple types of constitution as the main body type.Shenxu is main pathogenesis of postpartum NLBP.
