摘要
《庄子》是道家重要典籍,其丰富的哲学思想和瑰丽的文学意象至今仍具有旺盛的生命力。19世纪末《庄子》开始译介至英语世界,至今已有全译本、节译本、摘译本等30多部,不仅推动了中国道家思想在西方的传播,也对西方的哲学和文学产生了一定的影响,增进了中外文化交流。在中国文化"走出去"的大背景下,创建《庄子》汉英平行语料库具有重要的历史和现实意义。借助语料库这一新的研究范式,通过丰富的语料数据的支撑,可增强相关研究的客观性。通过探讨了《庄子》汉英平行语料库创建的主要途径和意义,希望能为典籍英译和文化传播提供新的研究范式和视角,为我国典籍译文版本的数字化整理和保存起到一定的促进作用。
Zhuangzi,one of the most important Taoism classics,is rich in philosophical thoughts and magnificent literary imagery.It has been translated into English many times since the end of 19th century and there are more than 30 full and excerpted versions,which not only helps to promote the spread of Taoism,but also has had a significant impact on western philosophy and literature,enhancing the cultural exchanges between China and other countries.In the context of Chinese culture"Going Global",it is of great historical and practical significance to build a Chinese-English parallel corpus of Zhuangzi,with the help of which relevant research will be more objective and scientific.The paper discusses the methods and significance of building such a bilingual corpus in the hope of providing a new research paradigm and a new perspective for the translation and transmission of Chinese classical books,as well as helping to promote the digitalization and preservation of their translations.
