摘要 耐候性是衡量钛白粉应用的关键指标之一。快速、准确、灵敏的耐候性评价方法不但是钛白粉生产在线包膜效果监控的需要,也是研发高性能钛白粉所必要的技术。本文选择工业生产的未包膜钛白粉、硅铝以及锆铝包膜的钛白粉作为样品,利用开路光电压和短路光电流两种技术对其光活性即钛白粉的耐候性进行评价。结果表明,相比于甲基橙光降解技术,光电化学测试可以更加快速、灵敏地定量区分不同包膜钛白粉的耐候性。 Weatherability is one of the most crucial factors for the application of TiO2 pigments. A fast, accurate and high-sensitive assessment method for weatherability is necessary for the online product quality control of the coating process and the development of high perormance TiO2 pigments. The present work uses the measurements of open-circuit photovoltage and short-circuit photocurrent to assess the weatherability of three commercial TiO2 pigments including the uncoated,Si-Al and Zr-Al oxide coated TiO2. The results show that the photoelectrochemical approach can be faster and more sensitive in determining the weatherability of TiO2 pigments as compared to the universal assessment method based on photodegradation of methyl orange.
