Objective To investigate the effect of amisulpride combined with magnesium valproate on glucose and lipid metabolism and prolactin level in patients with chronic schizophrenia. Methods A total of 60 patients with chronic schizophrenia admitted in our hospital from January 2019 to January 2020 were selected as the research objects and randomly divided into observation group(30 cases, amisulpride+magnesium valproate)and control group(30 cases, amisulpride). The glucose and lipid metabolism indexes, prolactin levels and symptom scores of the two groups before and after treatment were compared. Results After treatment, the levels of TC,TG,LDL,fasting blood glucose and prolactin in the control group were significantly lower than those before treatment(P<0.05);there were no significant differences in TC,TG,HDL,LDL,fasting blood glucose and prolactin levels in the observation group before and after treatment(P>0.05).After treatment, the PANSS scores and total score of the two groups decreased, and those in the observation group were significantly lower than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Amisulpride combined with magnesium valproate has a significant effect on chronic schizophrenia, which can improve the clinical symptoms of patients, and alleviate the effect of amisulpride on glucose and lipid metabolism and prolactin level to a certain extent.
