摘要
美籍华裔学者梁社乾翻译的《阿Q正传》(1926)是世界上首个英译本。梁译本总体采取"忠实"的翻译策略,意在传达原汁原味的中国文化,在采取"直译"翻译策略的同时又不乏巧妙变通之处,从积极健康的角度对原著中粗俗、猥亵的内容进行"净化"。梁译本流传至今已有近百年,依然具有重要的文献学和文学翻译史价值。
George Kin Leung,a Chinese American scholar,completed the first English translation of Ah Q Zheng Zhuan(1926).Liang’s translation adopts the strategy of"faithfulness"to convey the original Chinese culture.While adopting the strategy of"literal translation",there are many ingenious adaptations to"purify"the vulgar and obscene contents of the original from a positive and healthy perspective.Liang’s translation has been around for nearly a century and still has important value in philology and literary translation history.
