摘要
《花坞春云图》是文徵明游吴宽旧居东庄后所作的一幅山水画,既有的研究仅将之作为青绿山水画来看待,并未注意到该作品的图像隐喻。本文从细读画面入手,结合文献,对画题从字源学的角度进行考释,并参以东庄地貌的图像相印证,认为该作品实为隐性的"桃源图"。画面以右侧洞穴为起首,将洞穴、白云、桃花、屋舍、溪水、山石等母题绘制在"N"字状纵深折叠的空间中,并横向展开,形成一稳定的图式,以此呈现桃源内部的景象。本文通过分析文徵明对先师吴宽的追忆及其数次游东庄的心态变化,探析该作品绘制的情景,并对该图式在明代的流布及其内涵作了相关考察。
A Flowering Place with Spring Clouds is a landscape painting by Wen Zhengming,completed after the artist visited Wu Kuan’s former residence at the Eastern Estate.Researchers have taken this painting as a blue-and-green landscape only,regardless of its inherent iconic metaphor.Based on a close reading of the picture and by drawing on other textual resources,the current author examines and interprets this painting from an etymologic perspective.The author also refers to pictures implying the geographical features of the Eastern Estate.It is believed that the work actually alludes to the Land of Peach Blossoms.Beginning with a cave on the right,it has the motifs of cave,cloud,peach blossom,house,stream,mountain and rock laid out in an"N"-shaped way and spread out horizontally.In such a stable schema,the scene inside the Land of Peach Blossoms is represented.In addition,through an analysis of Wen Zhengming’s memory of his teacher Wu Kuan and his changing mentality during the several visits paid to the Eastern Estate,this paper probes into the context in which A Flowering Place with Spring Clouds was painted and investigates the evolution of the"Land of Peach Blossoms"painting schema in the Ming dynasty as well as its connotations.
