摘要
译入语诗学规范、原语诗学文化地位以及译者的诗学态度会影响文学译者的翻译实践。余国藩对《西游记》中诗词的翻译,其在韵律、句构以及修辞层面的转换策略极具诗学赋值。对诗学态度与韵文翻译策略的关联进行解读,可以揭示译者在诗学重构过程中主观能动性的存在及重要作用,为中国文学译介中的诗学问题处理提供一定的借鉴和启示。
Poetic norms of the target language,poetic status of source culture and the translators poetic attitude influence the translation practice of literary translators.The verses in have always been despised in the East and the West,and are in a marginal cultural position.This paper describes the poetic attitude of Anthony Yu and analyzes his translation strategies of the rhythm,syntax and rhetoric of the verses in The Journey to the West,which attempts to indicate that the translator endows the source text with poetic values so as to reconstruct and optimize the poetic beauty of the translation.The interpretation of the relationship between poetic attitudes and the poetic translation strategies reveals the existence and important role of the translators subjectivity in the poetic reconstruction,thereby providing reference and inspiration for the treatment of poetics in the translation of Chinese literature.
