摘要
从语法隐喻视角对汉日新闻翻译语料进行对比分析,讨论了翻译过程中语码转换、变体等复杂现象背后隐匿的认知机制。概念语法隐喻操作中,“名物化”将动态过程转为静态实体与事物,使行文的客观性进一步增强;“过程变体”表现为级阶的小句复合体向表示性状的词组转换,叙述模式由动态连续的时间性转为空间关系的扩展和延伸。人际语法隐喻通过情态系统的显隐纬度,在极性表达与惰性表达,主观与客观之间进行转换和选择,扩展了语言的意义潜势。语篇语法隐喻主要通过衔接系统体现出来,源语中的内隐逻辑关系转为表层显化形式。语法隐喻的运作机制与翻译过程的认知操作不谋而合,为其提供新的分析视角和认知阐释。
This paper makes a comparative analysis of Chinese and Japanese news translation materials using the theory of grammatical metaphor and discusses the cognitive mechanism behind the complex phenomena such as code-switching and language variety.Through the ideational grammatical metaphor,nominalization turns dynamic processes into static entities and things to enhance the objectivity of the text.Process variant is the shift from clause complex to phrases.In this way,dynamic and consecutive time turn into extensional circular.Interpersonal grammatical metaphor is the selection and transformation between deterministic expression and indefinite expression,subjective and objective,thereby the meaning potential is extended.Textual grammatical metaphor mainly occurs in the cohesion system.Implicit logic in source language is manifested in target language.Grammar metaphor operation mechanisms coincide with translating process and supply it with new analysis methods and interpretation.
