摘要
庄学本在国家边疆危机和民族学学科发展之际,投身于民族考察事业具有重要价值。先后三次进入藏彝走廊做人文探访,取得丰富成果,使其成为社会大众与藏彝走廊部分民族相互认识的媒介;是从个人角度对国家西部边疆开发战略的回应;庄学本对藏区坚持不懈地探索,使之成为中国民族学田野调查的先驱;为藏彝走廊民族文明的记录做出了重要贡献。
Mr.Zhuang Xueben made a great contribution to the development of ethnology.He had conducted rich cultural investigations of the Tibetan-Yi Corridor for three times,making the southwestern ethnic groups known to the public.The investigations are responses to the country's western frontier development strategy from a personal perspective.Mr.Zhuang Xueben's persistent exploration of Tibetan areas has made him become the pioneer of the Chinese ethnological field investigation,who has dedicated himself to the record of the national civilization of the Tibetan-Yi Corridor.
