摘要
朱子心性论的基础是超越经验意识的本然之心,是统摄形上之性与形下之情的枢纽。就精神活动的实存状态与功能属性而言,心性有别;就心识的生成与流行结构而言,心性一体,心居于形而上与形而下之间。对于性而言,心并非一个被动的中介或无价值的载体,而是具有独立意义和主体性地位。朱子论心性“一而二,二而一”的关系,保留了心与性的间隔,这与其渐进的工夫进路具有一致性。其中和新说与主敬穷理之工夫论,立足于经验意识之心做工夫,体现了以心合性、心与理一的渐进统合。
The basis of Zhu Xi s theory of Heart-Nature is the original mind which transcends the experience consciousness,and serves as the pivot controlling the metaphysical human nature and emotion.As regards to the actual state of mental activities and the functional properties of the heart,the heart is different from human nature;meanwhile,from the perspective of the formation and transformation of the structure of the mind,the heart and human nature are one,and the heart lies in between the physical and metaphysical.The heart then is an independently meaningful subject rather than a passive medium or a worthless vessel.Zhu Xi preserves the distance between the human nature and heart,which is consistent with the gradual way of self-cultivation in his theory.Based on the consciousness of experience,the mind-harmony theory and the mind-principle unity manifest a gradual integration.
