摘要
科技期刊在遇到数字、字母、符号并列时,一种观点认为其间只能用逗号,不能用顿号;另一种观点认为只能使用顿号。其实这两种观点都有偏颇。目前科技期刊在并列数字、字母、符号之间使用的标点符号比较混乱,顿号、逗号、分号随意使用,有的甚至一句话无论长短,一“逗”到底。在实践中,数字、字母和符号之间使用什么标点符号,除了可以把它们当作文字语言进而通过分析其在句中的语法作用,也可以通过比较它们之间在句中停顿时间的长短,或结合标准规定、国际惯例进行分析,从而规范使用它们之间的标点符号。
When numbers,letters and symbols are juxtaposed in scientific and technological journals,one view is that only commas can be used between them,while the other view is that only enumeration comma can be used between them.In fact,both views are biased.At present,punctuations used in scientific and technological journals are confused.Enumeration commas,commas,and semicolons are freely used,and even the length of a sentence is neglected with commas being used in the whole sentence.The punctuation between numbers,letters and symbols can be standardized by treating numbers,letters and symbols as text language and analyzing their grammatical functions,or by comparing the length of pause time between them in sentences,or by analysis in accordance with standard regulations and international practices.
