摘要
自诞生以来,“世界文学”的内涵就不断发生着变化。从历时的角度看,“世界文学”的发展是从歌德的“文学乌托邦”向比较文学高级阶段的进化过程;从共时的角度看,“世界文学”的发展是构建世界文学体系或世界文学空间等话语体系的动态过程。世界文学不仅将不同地域、民族、国家的文学经典涵盖、整合在其范围之内,而且根据作品在文学体系中的位置和距离中心的远近,决定其品质与价值。通过“世界文学”概念演变的梳理,可以发现世界文学如何从抽象的文学理念蜕变成诸种话语方式和文学谱系;通过世界文学标准变化的分析,不难发现世界文学如何从欧美“中心区域”的民族文学经典向亚非拉美等“边缘区域”的民族文学经典扩散。在全球化浪潮的推动下,未来的世界文学表现为民族性、地域性和翻译性越来越凸显的文学经典集合。
Since the birth of World Literature,its connotation has undergone constant changes.From a diachronic perspective,it’s an evolutionary process from what Goethe called Utopian Literature to the advanced stage of comparative literature.From a synchronic point of view,it is a dynamic process of constructing discourse systems such as world literature system or world literature space.World Literature not only covers literary classics of various regions,nationalities and countries,but also evaluates their quality and value according to their position in the literary system and their distance from the center.By reviewing the evolvement of its conception,this paper finds out how World Literature changed from abstract literary ideas to various discourse modes and literary pedigrees.In addition,through analyzing its changing standard,it is easily found how World Literature spreads from national literary classics of“central regions”of Europe and America to those of“marginal areas”such as Asia,Africa and Latin America.Driven by globalization,the future World Literature would be represented as a collection of literary classics with increasing nationalism,regionalism and translation.
