摘要
海外军事基地对于一个全球性大国谋求世界范围的利益,维持其对其他地区相对权力来说是至关重要的一部分。如一艘永不沉没的航母,海外军事基地在大国投射军事力量、迅速干预地区性事务、维护海外利益、体现国家意志等各方面发挥着独特作用。作为历史上曾经最强大的全球性海洋主导霸权国,英国的海外军事基地演变和发展深刻体现了其全球战略在不同时期的变化,也见证了英国海上霸权的兴衰。因此,从英国海外军事基地的发展角度探索英国全球战略的演变对当今我国海洋军事和战略部署有着积极意义。
The overseas military base is a vital part for a global power to seek worldwide interests andmaintain its relative power in other regions. Like an unsinkable aircraft carrier, overseas military bases play aunique role in projecting military power, rapidly intervening in regional affairs, safeguarding overseas interests,and embodying the will of the country. As the most powerful global maritime hegemonic power in history, theevolution and development of Britain’s overseas military bases profoundly reflect the changes of its globalstrategy in different periods, and also witness the rise and fall of Britain’s maritime hegemony. Therefore, it isof great significance to explore the evolution of British global strategy from the perspective of the developmentof British overseas military bases for China’s maritime military and strategic deployment.
