Objective To explore the effect of individualized swallowing therapy in neonatal intensive care unit(NICU)on feeding disorders of premature infants. Methods Seventy premature infants with feeding disorders received in our hospital from February 2018 to December 2018 were randomly divided into two groups,35 in each group. The control group received routine treatment, while the study group received individualized swallowing treatment while the control group received routine treatment. The average daily weight gain, daily milk gain, gastric tube retention time, total oral milk consumption time and total residence of each group before and after treatment were counted.Hospital time. Results Before treatment, the average daily weight gain and milk production in the study group were higher than those in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the study group was better than the control group in terms of hospitalization time, indwelling gastric tube time and total oral milk drinking time(P<0.05).Conclusion Individualized swallowing therapy for premature infants with feeding disorders in neonatal intensive care unit(NICU)environment can improve their swallowing function and shorten the time of gastric tube placement and hospitalization,so that premature infants with feeding disorders can recover as soon as possible.
