摘要
坦桑尼亚不同时期的语言政策取得了卓越的成就,对比非洲其他国家这些成就更为明显。这些语言政策对国家各个领域都产生了深远影响:在政治领域斯瓦希里语的国语政策维护了民族团结,对新独立的国家建构起到了重大作用;在社会领域不仅取得了富有成效的扫盲成绩,还有助于消除部族主义;在教育领域,带来了旷长日久的关于教学语言选择的问题,相关研究也为下一阶段语言政策的制定提供了全方位的参考;在语言领域,由于斯瓦希里语的推广,很多部落语言式微。相关经验和教训可以为其他国家语言政策的制定和实施提供借鉴。
Concerning its language policies in different periods,Tanzania has achieved remarkably,which is more obvious when compared with other African countries.These language policies have had great influence in all fields:politically speaking,the policy of having Swahili as its official language has safeguarded national unity and played a major role in the construction of an independent country;socially speaking,it has not only achieved good results in eliminating illiteracy,but also played an important part in eliminating tribalism;in the field of education,it has brought about a long-standing problem about the choice of teaching language,and related research also has provided a comprehensive reference for language planning in the future;in the language field,many tribal languages are becoming weak due to Swahili Promotion.The relevant experience and lessons can provide references for the formulation and implementation of language policies in other countries.
