摘要
刘禹锡与白居易的唱和历程长达40年,约略可分为4个时期。他们遵循"相戒""相勉""相慰""相娱"的创作初衷,在不同时期、不同境遇、不同背景下,赋予唱和诗多种功能。其所抒写的固然都是一己之情怀,但其中往往融入家国之思和身世之感。两人势均力敌,作品难分高下。不过,刘禹锡唱和诗中所表现出的豪迈、壮阔胸襟和旷达、乐观情怀以及生生不息的辩证法思想,却是白居易诗所缺少的。而刘禹锡诗的含蓄蕴藉,也曾让白居易自愧弗如。
Liu Yuxi and Bai Juyi created their antiphon poems respectively for forty years,which fell into four periods.They followed respectively the initial intentions of“mutual exhorting”,“mutual encouraging”,“mutual consoling”and“mutual entertaining”,endowing their antiphon poems with various functions in different periods,situations and backgrounds.Though centering on personal feelings,their antiphon poems are often integrated with their devotion to the family and the country as well as their perception of life.The two poets and their works are almost equally great.However,what Bai’s poetry lacks finds expression in Liu’s poetry,that is,the heroic spirit,broad-mindedness,optimistic feelings and rich dialectic thoughts and implications.
