目前,英语课堂活动逐渐从教师为本向以学生为本转换,教师开始注重学生的认知能力的发展,教材和教学方法的选择,以及学生学习的情景方面。新课标中指出:情景教学情景教学的功能和地位是一个重要因素,影响学生的学习和发展,我们应保持和维护情景教学学生的积极影响,因为这对于英语学习的成功是至关重要的。
