摘要
测算了包含环境要素的Malmquist-Luenberger全要素生产率指数,并以其作为衡量经济增长质量的代理指标。运用扩展的柯布-道格拉斯生产函数,构建了R&D投入经济增长模型。采用1998~2017年中国大陆30个省际面板数据,研究了R&D投入对经济增长质量的影响。实证结果表明,R&D投入显著促进了经济增长质量,但R&D投入结构对提高经济增长质量具有异质性影响。基础研究对经济增长质量影响更为深远,试验发展影响更为直接有效,应用研究影响最小。R&D投入与经济增长质量存在显著的空间相关性,不仅能够提升本地区经济增长质量,对其他区域经济增长质量也具有促进作用,其中应用研究的空间溢出增长效应最大,基础研究次之,试验发展最小。
On the basis of calculating the Malmquist-Luenberger total factor productivity index which contains environmental factors as an agency index to measure the quality of economic growth, this paper constructs the R&D input economic growth model, by the extended Cobb Douglas production function. It studies the impact of R&D input on the quality of economic growth by using the panel data of 30 provinces in China's Mainland from 1998 to 2017. Empirical results show that R&D investment promotes the quality of economic growth significantly, but the structure of R&D investment has a heterogeneous impact on improving the quality of economic growth. And basic research has a far-reaching impact on the quality of economic growth, the impact of experimental development is more direct and effective, and applied research has the least. There is a significant spatial correlation between R&D input and the quality of economic growth. It can not only improve the quality of regional economic growth, but also promote the quality of other regional economic growth. Among them, the spatial spillover effect of applied research is the largest, followed by basic research, and experimental development is the smallest.
