Objective To explore the effect of minimally invasive percutaneous locking compression plate internal fixation in the treatment of limb fractures. Methods 60 patients with limb fractures admitted to the orthopaedics department of our hospital from May 2018 to May 2019 were selected and divided into two groups according to the coin tossing method. The control group was treated with traditional open reduction and internal fixation, while the observation group was treated with minimally invasive percutaneous locking compression plate internal fixation. The operative indexes and VAS scores of the two groups were compared. Results The amount of bleeding during operation in the observation group was less than that in the control group(t = 11.078), the operation time, fracture healing time and hospitalization time were shorter than those in the control group(t = 6.402, 5.835, 11.222), P < 0.05;the VAS score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(t = 19.533), P < 0.05. Conclusion Minimally invasive percutaneous locking compression plate internal fixation is effective in the treatment of limb fractures. It can reduce intraoperative bleeding, shorten operation time and hospitalization time, promote fracture healing, improve operation efficiency and relieve pain. It has high clinical application value.
