摘要
金融发展不仅能够影响企业的出口(产品)质量,而且还会影响不同出口质量企业的质量竞争和价格竞争策略选择,从而间接影响出口企业的市场份额。基于24个国家2005—2012年的平衡面板数据,运用面板随机效应模型,实证解答金融发展、出口质量与出口企业市场份额的关系。结果表明:金融发展与出口质量呈明显的“倒U型”关系;金融发展决定了出口企业的竞争策略选择,它强化了出口质量和出口企业市场份额的关系。具体地说,在出口产品质量较低的情况下,出口企业采取的低价竞争策略引致更多企业进入出口市场,削弱了在位出口企业的市场份额;在出口产品质量较高的情况下,出口产品质量高的企业以质量竞争策略挤压了出口产品质量低的企业,从而获得了较高的市场份额。
Financial development not only effects on the export quality,but also influences on the competitive strategy choice of export quality and lower price of products under the difference firms of export quality,finally it affects the exporter’s market share indirectly.Using 24 countries panel dataset over the period from 2005-2012,this paper examined the relationship among financial development,export quality and exporters market share by using the panel random model.The results of the regression show that there is an invert-U shape relationship between financial development and export quality.Financial development also plays a vital role in the competition strategy choice,and its strength the relations between export quality and exporters market share,namely The exporters which export production quality is low can take the competition strategy of lower price and that lead to incentive more entrants as results of impair market concentration of incumbents.High quality production of exporters,however,can take the competitive strategy of quality to crowd-out the inferior quality production of exports and strengthen its concentration in the market.
