摘要
基于粒子系统的流场可视化,将流场中运动的流体质点看作粒子,借助大量粒子的运动,表达了一种具有真实感的流场。受限于当前普通硬件设备的运算能力,这种方法在全球大规模流场可视化中的应用并不理想。本文从优化粒子系统数据结构出发,设计了视景体索引、流场数据网格、粒子的三层结构,快速检索、绘制当前视景体内的粒子,大幅度减少了粒子可视化运算量。最后,将设计思路应用到粒子系统的程序设计中,借助三维虚拟地球可视化平台展示全球表层流场的动态效果,并验证了该方法的有效性。
Based on the visualization of the flow field of the particle system,the fluid particles moving in the flow field are regarded as particles,and a realistic flow field is expressed by the movement of a large number of particles.Limited by the current floating point computing power of common hardware devices,the application of this method in the large-scale flow visualization is not ideal.Starting from optimizing the data structure in particle system,this paper designs the three-layer structure of the horizon index,the flow field data grid,and the particle.The particles in the current view could be quickly retrieved and drew,which greatly reduces the amount of visualization computation.Finally,the design idea is applied to the programming of the particle system.The dynamic effect of the global surface flow field is demonstrated by the 3D virtual earth visualization platform,and the effectiveness of the method is verified.
