摘要
随着结构性就业问题的日益凸显,在职业生涯发展中发挥重要作用的职业素养日益受到大学关注。斯坦福大学通识课程在面向基准性职业素养培育的同时,大力强调鉴别性职业素养的生成,在通识课程实践中尤其注重塑造"会质疑""能专攻""有情怀"的职场人员,以达到训练批判性思维、服务专业知识、培育新型人文素养的目的。斯坦福大学面向职业素养型通识课程之所以能够如此优质,既与外部用人单位的需求变化密切相关,又离不开大学内部所提供的优渥经费、高质量师资与良好制度环境,这为我国高校通识课程改革提供了良好范例和借鉴思路。
With the recent rise in structural unemployment,universities have been attaching greater importance to the cultivation of professional capacities among students.Stanford University in the U.S.,for example,started to offer students general education courses cultivating both threshold and differentiating competences for a successful career.These courses aim to produce specialized undergraduate majors with a broad intellectual foundation,a sense of personal and social responsibility as well as strong critical thinking skills.Such a general education curriculum for professional competences is geared to meet the demands of the job market and turns out to be a huge success.Substantial resources,committed teachers and strong institutional support are the key ingredients for Stanford’s success,and that recipe also has implications for the general education reform in colleges and universities in China.
