摘要
目前学界一致认为宁夏盐池县张家场古城为秦汉北地郡昫衍县。文章指出这一看法不符合传世文献、出土文献对昫衍戎、昫衍县方位的记述。而《读史方舆纪要》有关两汉龟兹县地处今宁夏盐池县的考述值得关注。综合各类文献记载、考古调查,张家场古城应为两汉上郡龟兹县。
It is generally believed that the Zhangjiachang city site in Yanchi,Ningxia,was the Xuyan county in Beidi prefecture during the Qin and Han periods.This paper points out that this view is inconsistent with the records of the Xuyan Rong and the location of the Xuyan county in both traditional and excavated Qin-Han texts.More attention should be paid to records in Dushi Fangyu Jiyao(《读史方舆纪要》)which argues that Han Qiuci county was located in today s Yanchi of Ningxia.Taking into account all the textual and archaeological evidence,this paper suggests that the Zhangjiachang city site should be identified as the Han Qiuci county in Shang prefecture(上郡).
