摘要
毛泽东诗词是当代中国诗坛当之无愧的文学瑰宝,多年来出现了许多外文译本。“诗无达诂”,“译无达译”,同一首诗有不同的译本是件好事,有比较才能有鉴别。选取几个典型的毛泽东诗词译本,从文革时期亦步亦趋的外文出版社译本到夹杂译者个人审美和诠释的创造性翻译的许渊冲译本,再到异化的李正栓译本,三个译本分别代表不同的时代所需,发现译者所处的时代诗学和译者主体性对译本的形成起着主导作用。
Mao Zedong’s poems are invaluable treasure in the contemporary Chinese literary circle to be frequently translated over the years.Aesthetic appreciation in literature and art is different from person to person.There is no perfect translation of poetry.This paper selects several typical English versions of Mao Zedong’s poems to analyse their translation effects,including the version of Foreign Language Press in the period of the Great Cultural Revolution in China,Xu Yuanchong’s creative translation with the translator’s personal aesthetics and interpretation,and Li Zhengshuan’s foreignized translation.The three versions cater to the needs of different times.It finds that the poetics of translator’s time and the translator’s subjectivity will influence his translation strategies.
