In order to investigate the allelopathic effect of aqueous extracts from different parts of oat(Avena sativa)seed on rapeseed(Brassica napus),the whole seeds, dehulled groats and hull of Avena sativa‘Longyan No.3’were used as research donor, and rapeseed was used as the receptor. The allelopathic effect of three aqueous extracts on the seed germination and seedling growth of rapeseed was evaluated. The results showed that the synthetical allelopathic effects of whole seed, dehulled and hull aqueous extracts on oats were negative, which were-0.81,-0.42 and-0.24,respectively,showing inhibition effects. The allelopathic synthetical effects of aqueous extracts with different concentrations on rapeseed seeds were significantly different(P<0.05).The synthetical allelopathic effect of whole seed aqueous extract on rapeseed had a concentration effect, showing promotion under low concentration and inhibition under high concentration. The aqueous extracts of dehulled groats and hull inhibited root growth of rapeseed but improved shoot growth, resulting in short root and long shoot of rapeseed seedling.
