某前轴转向节主销早期断裂原因分析

摘要 针对近期频出的转向节主销断裂问题,文章通过对比各类转向桥的故障率及失效形貌,得出主销与主销孔在使用中发生微动磨损,在主销表面产生微裂纹,最终引起主销疲劳断裂。通过采用42CrMo表面感应淬火主销代替原有的20CrMnTi渗碳淬火处理,增加了淬硬层的强韧性,其表面残余压应力较高,有效提高主销微动疲劳抗力,显著降低了转向节主销的早期断裂售后故障。 Aiming at the frequent fracture of steering knuckle kingpin,failure rate and morphology of different kinds of steering axles are compared in this paper.The conclusion shows that surface microcracks from fretting wear are responsible for the fracture of kingpin.By means of changing kingpin material from 20CrMnTi to 42CrMo,adopting induction hardening as the heat treatment process instead of carburizing and quenching,strength and toughness of quench-hardened case are improved,the high residual compressive stress on surface efficiently increase the fatigue strength of kingpin,so the early facture failure of steering knuckle kingpin is significantly reduced.
