Study Engagement Analysis of Undergraduates Majoring in Tourism Management in China

摘要 大学生学习投入是全面提高本科教学质量的前提和核心。文章借鉴大学生学习投入量表(UWES-S),以旅游管理本科生为调研对象,修订适用于旅游专业大学生的学习投入量表,并开展大学生学习投入特征及其差异的研究。研究结果显示:旅游管理本科生学习投入量表是一个由学习活力、学习奉献、学习专注三个维度构成的结构模型,为旅游专业大学生学习投入提供测量工具;旅游专业本科生学习投入在不同年级差异显著,但性别、录取方式和家庭等个体特征对学习投入影响不明显;旅游专业本科生学习投入程度总体不高,学习投入与学习成绩呈显著的正相关性。 The study engagement of college students is the premise and core of improving the teaching quality of tourism management. This paper develops and revises the Utrecht Work Engagement Scale-Student (UWES-S) and takes undergraduates majoring in tourism management as the research object, and studies the characteristics and differences of study engagement of university students. The results show that the study engagement scale of tourism management undergraduates is a structural model composed of three dimensions, namely, learning vitality, learning dedication and learning focus. There are significant differences in learning engagement among different grades of tourism undergraduates while gender, admission method, family and other individual characteristics have no significant influence on learning engagement. The degree of study engagement of tourism majors is generally not high, and there is a significant positive correlation between study engagement and academic performance.
