摘要
父母时间投资是一种重要的人力资本投资,这种投资不足会影响子代人力资本的形成。综合运用中国教育追踪调查数据(CEPS)2013~2014基线数据和2014~2015追踪数据以及中国家庭追踪调查数据(CFPS)2012年和2014年的数据,实证研究了父母时间投资对子代人力资本的影响及异质性。研究发现,相对于家庭收入而言,父母时间投资是影响子代人力资本的一个更为重要和更加微妙的因素。进一步研究发现,在经济条件中等及以上、在流动儿童家庭和与父母同住的家庭中,不论子女是初中生还是小学生,父母时间投资与子代人力资本均呈正相关。建议在家庭建设方面,提高父母对子女的时间投资意识,创造有利于增加父母时间投资的家庭、工作和制度条件。
Parental time investment is important in human capital investment,and this lack of investment will affect the development of children’s human capital. Based on the China Education Panel Survey data(CEPS)of the 2013~ 2014 and 2014~2015 two school years survey and China Family Panel Studies(CFPS2012~2014),this paper empirically analyzes the heterogeneity impact of parental time on children’s human capital. The results show that parental time investment is a more important and subtler factor affecting their children’s human capital than family income. Further research finds that parental time investment is positively correlated with their children’s human capital in the families with medium above economic conditions,migrant children and the families living with parents,regardless of whether their children are junior or primary school students. In the aspect of family construction,it is suggested to raise parents’awareness of investing their children’s time,and to create family,work and institutional conditions conducive to increasing parents’time investment.
