摘要
庞德通过翻译儒家经典《中庸》,为儒家思想文化在海外的传播与弘扬发挥重要作用。庞德翻译过程中,直接或间接地受新柏拉图之光哲学的影响。从新柏拉图思想入手,在对新柏拉图之光与庞德《中庸》之间的联系与区别进行简要论述,针对基于新柏拉图之光的庞德《中庸》翻译路径进行探究。力求帮助人们加深对新柏拉图之光的哲学,以及庞德翻译的《中庸》的理解与认知。
Pound played an important role in the overseas spread and promotion of Confucian ideology and culture when translating the Confucian classic The Doctrine of the Mean. In the translation process, Pound is directly or indirectly influenced by the philosophy of Neo-Platonic light. This paper, starting from discussing the Neo-Platonic thought, briefly discusses the connection and difference between Neo-Platonic light and Pound’s The Doctrine of the Mean, and explores the path of translating Pound’s The Doctrine of the Mean based on Neo-Platonic light, striving to help deepen people’s understanding and cognition on the philosophy of Neo-Platonic light as well as Pound’s translation of The Doctrine of the Mean.
