Comparative Study on Mental Health of Medical Students in Different Periods

摘要 目的 分析医学生不同时期心理健康状况变化特点,为开展有针对性地心理健康教育、提高医学生心理素质提供依据。方法 对2014级不同专业1 713名本科学生心理健康状况进行前瞻性研究。采用大学生人格量表(university personality inventory,UPI)对2014级学生在一年级及三年级时分别进行心理健康状况调查。结果(1)一年级时第一类学生有313 人(占18.27%)。其中,男生 91人(占 14.51%),女生 222 人(占 20.44%),男女生人数比较差异有统计学意义(P < 0.05)。该级学生经过2 a的学习,到三年级时,第一类学生的数量有所增加,总数增加到344人(占20.08%),其中男生人数增加到107人(占17.07%),女生增加到237人(占21.82%),男女生人数比较,差异有统计学意义(P < 0.05)。第1年和第3年时的第一类学生人数比较,差异无统计学意义(P > 0.05)。结论 经过2 a的大学生活,医学生心理健康状况整体有提升,特别在精神分裂和神经症两方面改善明显;五年制学生心理健康状况提升优于四年制学生.医科院校应加强对新生、女生及非医学学位(四年制)学生的心理健康教育的针对性和实效性。 Objective To investigate the features of mental health of medical students in different periods,so as to provide evidence for conducting targeted mental health education and improving psychological diathesis of medical students. Methods A prospective study was conducted on the mental health status of 1713 undergraduates of different programs of batch 2014. The mental health status of these students was investigated at the first and third school year respectively, using the college student personality scale (UPI). Results(1)There were 313 first-year students fell into category 1 (18.27%). Among them, there were 91 male (14.51%) and 222 female (20.44%), with statistically significant differences (P < 0.05)between male and female students. After two years of study, the number of students in the first category increased to 344 (20.08%), including 107 males (17.07%) and 237 females (21.82%), with statistically significant differences (P < 0.05)between male and female students. There was no statistically significant difference (P > 0.05)in the number of category 1 students between the first year and the third year . Conclusion After two years of college life,the mental health of medical students has been improved in terms of schizophrenia and neurosis. The mental health status of five-year undergraduate program students is better than that of four-year.Medical colleges should strengthen the pertinence and effectiveness of mental health education for freshmen, female students and non-medical degree students.
