Objective To explore the effect of early thermal insulation intervention on children's body temperature changes during blood purification, and to provide guidance for the care of children's blood purification. Methods Sixty children with blood purification treatment from March 2017 to December 2018 in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit were selected as subjects. They were divided into observation group and control group by random number table method, with 30 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing and the observation group was provided with early warm-up intervention nursing. The incidence of hypothermia in the two groups, the incidence of hypothermia at different time points in continuous blood purification(CBP), treatment mode, and the satisfaction of family members were compared. Results The incidence of hypothermia in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the body temperature of the two groups(P>0.05). After purification 4 hours, 8 hours, 12 hours and in the late stage of purification, the body temperature of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). There was no significant difference in body temperature during the blood purification period in the observation group (P>0.05). After purification 4 hours, 8 hours, 12 hours and in the late stage of purification, the body temperature of the control group was significantly higher than that in the pre-purification period, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). The nursing satisfaction of parents in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion Blood purification treatment can promote the hypothermia of children. Early thermal insulation intervention can reduce the incidence of hypothermia in chil
