摘要
《西游记》不仅是中国古典小说四大名著之一,更是齐集了数百首诗词曲的文学宝库。本文基于汉语古诗英译策略体系,从译诗语言易化策略、译诗形式多样化策略、译诗词语转换策略、附翻译扩展策略等四个层面对《满庭芳》的四种译文进行多维的描写研究,借此对不同译者的译诗策略进行整体性探究。
Journey to the West is not only one of the Four Great Classical Novels in Chinese literature but also a literary treasure-trove with hundreds of poems. By drawing upon the system of strategies in the English translations of ancient Chinese poems proposed by Wen & Chen(2016), this article conducts a multi-faceted descriptive study of four translations of Mantingfang from four aspects, namely choice of linguistic variety, formal diversification, translation and para-translation strategies so as to achieve a holistic understanding of the strategies adopted by different translators.
