Wooden branches are the most important elements in Chinese traditional flower arrangement art creation. The market supply gap of woody branches is gradually becoming a bottleneck restricting the comprehensive revival of traditional Chinese flower arrangement art.Producers lack awareness of market demand and creators lack normal access, which requires a bridge to build a platform for communication between the two sides. To build a"plantphoto bank"is to build a bridge to guide the construction of the market supply chain of traditional flower arrangement. The plants in The Book of Songs were recorded from the beginning of Zhou Dynasty to the middle of Spring and Autumn Period. They are almost all native plants in China. The cultural connotations behind them are very rich. Some symbolic meanings are well known to Chinese people and consensus has been reached.Using these plants to create flower arrangement works, the meaning of"traditional flower arrangement"will be greatly enhanced. From ancient paintings to photographs, the viewer"from image to image"can intuitively feel the color, shape, texture and charm of each plant.
