“文化金字塔修辞批评论”:问题意识与学术价值

摘要 跨文化交际研究必然与文化学相交叉,而文化学就其“文化”本质而言,必然又与其他学科相交叉。但无论如何交叉,文化评价问题都无法避免。林大津从十九大《党章》对“文化”所做的话语微调中,借鉴广义修辞学理论,通过跨学科视域下交叉学科研究,提出“文化金字塔修辞批评论”,探究不同层级文化现象从上至下的制约关系,将文化评价纳入“刚性”与“柔性”上下制约关系中考察,体现出作者强烈的问题意识,对于促进文化、交际、党建和跨文化传播等研究,都具有跨学科学术参考价值。 Intercultural communication studies in the foreign language education circles are bound up with culture studies, and culture studies, due to the very nature of “culture”, are bound up with some other disciplines. Inevitable in any cross-disciplinary studies of this nature is the issue of cultural evaluation. Drawing upon the theory of Big Rhetoric and focusing on the modification by the Constitution of the CPC revised and adopted at the 19^th National Congress of the CPC to cultural interpretation made in that adopted at the 18th Congress, Lin Dajin proposes “rhetorical criticism based on a cultural pyramid” as a cross-disciplinary study from multidisciplinary perspectives. The new theory of rhetorical criticism investigates how cultural elements at a higher level of the “cultural pyramid” constrain, in cultural evaluation, those at a lower level, from the top to its bottom, differing in degrees of strictness and resilience. All this fully demonstrates the proponent’ strong sensitivity to controversial issues and the theory he has proposed is of great academic significance to multidisciplinary studies on culture, communication, the Party construction and cross-cultural communication.
