摘要
近年来,西方新闻专业主义以价值中立的纯学术性外观屡屡被引入国内学术界,这是一个需要引起高度警觉的症候。西方新闻专业主义与马克思主义新闻观凿枘不合,其主要内涵是强调所谓的媒介独立、客观、均衡,以及行业自治。相较而言,马克思主义新闻观是一个具备逻辑自洽性的观念系统,也是一个具备开放性、实效性的理论框架。而西方新闻专业主义则是一个包涵逻辑悖论的观念体系,存在着结构性的缺陷,而且还具有封闭性与空洞性的痼疾。我们通过与马克思主义新闻观的对照,剖解西方新闻专业主义的实质,对其进行理论祛魅,这不仅是专业研究范围内的一次学术操作,而且也是对一个具有迷惑性与挑战性的政治性议题的现实处置。
In recent years, western journalistic professionalism has been introduced into the domestic academic community with pure academic appearance of value neutrality. This is a symptom that needs to be highly a-lert. The main connotation of western journalistic professionalism is to emphasize media independence, objectivity, balance, and industry autonomy, which is completely different from Marxist views of journalism. The Marxist views of journalism is a conceptual system with logical self-consistency and a theoretical framework with openness and effectiveness while Western journalistic professionalism a system of ideas that embraces logical paradox. The latter has structural defects, and chronic disease of exclusiveness and void. By contrasting with the Marxist views of journalism, this paper is to dissect the essence of western journalistic professionalism and disenchant it theoretically. This is not only an academic exercise within the scope of journalistic research, but also a realistic disposition of a deceptive and challenging political issue.
