Objective To investigate the effect of continuous health education on stress response and quality of life in patients after cervical cancer surgery. Methods To select 60 cases of patients with cervical cancer who underwent surgery in our hospital from January 2016 to March 2018 as the study subjects. They were randomly divided into intervention group and control group with the same number of patients. The control group was given routine health education, while the intervention group was treated by continuous health education. We compared the stress response and quality of life of the two groups at the time of enrollment and 6 months after surgery. Results The stress response scores and total scores of the intervention group were lower than those of the control group at 6 months after operation( P <0.05). The quality of life scores of the intervention group were higher than those of the control group at 6 months after operation( P <0.05). Conclusion Applying continuous health education for patients with cervical cancer after surgery can help improve stress response and quality of life of these patients.
