摘要
通过分析无线链路中影响覆盖的关键参数,对5G和4G上下行覆盖差异进行对比。5G 3.5 GHz的下行覆盖能力占优,理论计算比4G 1.8 GHz强5.8 dB。3.5 GHz上行覆盖能力存在劣势,理论计算比4G 1.8 GHz弱10.4 dB。5G 3.5 GHz的上行是覆盖瓶颈,现有站址密度无法满足5G覆盖需求,1:1共站址规划的同时,需根据网络覆盖需求引导5G建设。
This paper compares uplink and downlink coverages of 5G and the ones of 4G by analyzing the key parameters affecting the radio coverage. The downlink coverage of 3.5GHz of 5G performs better than 1.8GHz of 4 G, which is 5.8 dB stronger via theoretical calculation. The uplink coverage of 3.5 GHz is worse than 1.8GHz, which is 10.4 dB weaker via theoretical calculation. Hence, the uplink of 3.5GHz of 5G is the coverage bottleneck, while the current site density can not meet the coverage requirements of 5G. With 1:1 co-site planning, 5G construction should be guided according to the requirements of network coverage.
