摘要
电影片名的翻译在电影国际推广和宣传中的重要意义不言而喻。该研究以生态翻译学中的“适应选择论”作为理论基础,通过对2018年第90届奥斯卡最佳长篇动画电影Coco的片名在海峡两岸暨香港地区三个汉译本的比较,旨在说明不同的译名体现了译者在创造性叛逆中对语言维、文化维和交际维的不同翻译选择和文化适应。同时研究发现,从“三维”阐释文本转换不足以概括原文到译文的全部生态环境元素,电影片名的汉译还体现出“内容维”的适应与转换。
The importance of movie-title translation can never be overemphasized in the promotion of movies in the international market. Under the theory of adaptation and selection in eco-translatology, the three translated versions of Coco ,Best Animation Award of 90 th Oscar, in China s Mainland, Taiwan and Hongkong have been compared in order to illustrate that different translated titles reflect the translator s flexible adaptation to the language, culture and communication of the target audience. Meanwhile, it s found that content of movies should be taken into account when translating movie titles.
