摘要
恶性肿瘤的发生率和死亡率在世界范围内迅速增长,成为许多国家人群在70岁之前死亡的第1或第2大原因。目前,化疗是治疗恶性肿瘤最主要的有效手段之一,而对化疗药物的耐药性仍然是化学治疗成功的主要障碍。新药开发经济成本高、耗时长且安全性难以保证,这就使得药物的重新定位可能成为了一种替代性治疗策略。阿苯达唑是一种已知的广谱和低毒性抗寄生虫药物,被证实具有潜在的抗肿瘤活性。对阿苯达唑抗肿瘤作用机制的研究进展进行了综述,以期能够实现药物的重新定位为临床治疗肿瘤提供新的策略。
The incidence and mortality of malignant tumor are growing rapidly worldwide, becoming the first or second leading cause of death in many countries before the age of 70. At present, chemotherapy is one of the most effective methods for the treatment of malignant tumor, and the resistance to chemotherapy drugs is still the main obstacle to the success of chemotherapy. New drug development is high economic cost, time-consuming and difficult to guarantee its safety, therefore it is possible to make drug repositioning as a potentially alternative treatment strategy. Albendazole, a known broad-spectrum and low-toxic antiparasitic drug, has been shown to have potential anti-tumor effect. In this paper, the research progress of the anti-tumor mechanism of albendazole is reviewed, in order to realize the drug repositioning to provide a new strategy for clinical tumor therapy.
