抗战时期,建筑大师杨廷宝先生在重庆留下了众多具有时代意义的优秀设计作品。其充分利用地域环境和现实条件创造的富有传统特色和时代精神的作品,成为这一时期山城建筑的典范,是重庆城市发展进程中一笔珍贵的建筑文化遗产,且对重庆当今的建筑设计和城市建设具有深刻的影响和启发意义。
The master architect Yang Tingbao left many outstanding works of epochal significance in Chongqing during the Anti-Japanese War period. These architectural works, well embedded in the local environment and realistic conditions, are an embodiment of the traditional building features and the spirit of the times. As an architectural model of the mountainous city in this period, they're a precious architectural and cultural heritage in the urban development course of Chongqing, which exerts a profound impact on the architectural design and urban construction of Chongqing today.
